Simple battery setup. Open the battery compartment, insert two fresh AA alkaline batteries following the polarity markings, and close the cover before connecting your phone.

Use fresh alkaline batteries only. Do not use NiMH/NiCd rechargeable batteries or carbon-zinc batteries. Replace depleted batteries to restore backup power.

Check charging, not just the indicator. The indicator may remain lit when the batteries no longer provide enough power to charge the phone. Replace the batteries if charging stops.

Care and use. Avoid damp storage and temperatures above 60°C. Stop using the unit if a battery leaks. Do not connect it to a power bank for charging or modify the charger.
Emergency top-ups, not a full recharge.
The user guide estimates about 5–10% added phone charge per use, depending on the phone model. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed result. Not intended for routine charging or high-power devices.

Keep fresh batteries and the correct phone cable ready, then follow the steps below.

Insert two fresh alkaline AAs.
Open the battery cover, follow the + and − marks inside, and close the cover securely.

Connect your charging cable.
Plug the USB-A end into the top of the charger and the other end into your compatible phone.

Select USB mode.
Move the side switch to USB. Replace depleted batteries when they no longer provide charging power.
Choose the right batteries.
Use two fresh 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries. The supplied instructions do not recommend rechargeable NiMH/NiCd or zinc-carbon batteries for this charger.

Which batteries should I use?
Use two fresh 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries. Follow the polarity marks inside the compartment. Batteries are not included.
Will it fully charge my phone?
It is designed for limited emergency top-ups. Do not expect a full recharge. Results depend on the batteries, your phone and how the phone is used while connected.
Will it work with every phone?
Compatibility varies. You need a suitable USB-A charging cable for your phone, and the phone must accept power from this charger. Check your device before relying on it as a backup.
Does the charger need to be recharged?
The unit runs on replaceable AA batteries. Replace depleted batteries with fresh alkaline AAs when needed. The unit does not recharge the AA batteries.
What is included?

What should I check if charging stops?
